When KC asked me if I would like to participate in her August event called ‘14 Days of FAB’ (Freakin’ Awesome Books…so far this year), I immediately said yes! Two books instantly popped into my head: Sinful by Charlotte Featherstone and More by Sloan Parker. Both turned my likes and dislikes in romance reading upside down, had me invested in the characters’ stories to the max, wrenched my guts and broke my heart, made me smile and sob, and last but not least had me feel flustered and hot & bothered more than once.

If I could only pick one of these two it would be Sloan Parker’s More, a contemporary m/m/m romance, because I’m especially impressed by this one since it’s a debut novel.

And oh boy was it scorching my panties! If you think two men making out and scr*wing their brains out is hot, then picture three men doing all that! Yep, More is most definitely a ‘panty-twister’ as KC would call it! Well, the love scenes were not only hot but also showed a parallel development that was present in that of the relationship – or to be more precise Luke’s growth. Luke is the narrator in this novel and it’s symbolic that he wants to be tied up the first time the three men meet and have sex. Luke’s also the one who refuses to go bareback long after the two other men – Richard and Matthew – are ready for that kind of commitment. So, the sex scenes mirror the feelings in this relationship and play an important role in understanding each other. I love it when sex is functional like that *grin*. And I just happened to like Luke and Richard a lot and really love Matthew. His bouncing, happy persona was outright adorable! Add great writing skill and a good story arc to the mix and you have a FAB!

What? You aren’t convinced yet to run, not walk, to get this book? Then let me put it this way: I hardly ever reread a book but I would reread More for the panty-twisting moments alone, and I think Mr. ErotRomReader won’t object if I do. At all. *wink*
